MyScience-Cruise<\/em> –<\/strong> Expedition METEOR M124

Zehn herausragende Studenten wurden ausgew\u00e4hlt, bei einer 18-t\u00e4gigen Ausbildungsfahrt, die am 29. Februar 2016 in Kapstadt (S\u00fcdafrika) auf dem deutschen Forschungsschiffes METEOR <\/a>startete, dabei zu sein.<\/p>\n

Die jungen Wissenschaftler aus sieben Nationen haben an Bord hautnah Forschung aus den Bereichen der physikalischen Ozeanographie, der marinen Meteorologie, der Biogeochemie, der Plankton\u00f6kologie und der Paleoozeanographie kennengelernt und miterlebt. Die Studenten wurden in einer Reihe von Messinstrumenten geschult, nahmen an einer Vorlesungsreihe teil und arbeiteten ein eigenes Forschungsthema aus, welches nach Ankunft in Rio de Janeiro (Brasilien) auf einem Empfang am 18. M\u00e4rz pr\u00e4sentiert wurde.<\/p>\n

MyScience-Cruise<\/em> –<\/strong> Expedition METEOR M124
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

10 outstanding students from countries bordering the South Atlantic were elected to join an 18-days expedition with the German research vessel METEOR <\/a>that started on 29. February 2016 in Cape Town, South Africa.<\/p>\n

The young scientists from 7 nations participated\u00a0actively in the research conducted during the cruise, covering physical oceanography, marine meteorology, biogeochemistry, plankton ecology, and paleoceanography. Expert training on a variety of observing instrumentation as well as lectures were provided. The students worked out a specific science topic that was presented during a reception at the end of the cruise on the 18. March in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.<\/p>\n
