Qué tal?!” when he sees you arriving from far away or the lovely lady Maria, who is cleaning the facilities asking you whether you missed your only Spanish sweetheart.

Sadly, the beloved staff of the local bakery has changed completely and the new employees don’t quite seem to understand my jokes (maybe I should improve my Spanish and stop relying on sign language though).

What genuinely surprised me, was the fact that even the local fishermen seemed to remember us. A chat with a man, from whose tattoos you could tell that his true love was the sea, told me how appreciative he is of our work and that more locals should be made aware of climate change. He was very happy that KOSMOS was “back in town”. What a nice way to start your campaign.

Thank you Gran Canaria for the welcome, it feels good to be back!

Paul

_________

Paul

[deutsche Version unten] Coming back to Gran Canaria after almost six months, I did not know what to expect and how it would feel.
