Come and hear about heat tolerance in sea anemones!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During this and the next week, the GAME participants of 2015 will present their findings about the capacity of anthozoans to tolerate ocean warming. They experimentally compared tolerance to heat stress in 14 different species of sea anemones from 7 different latitudes. The results of their study confirm the climate variability hypothesis that suggests that tropical and temperate species differ in their ability to withstand rising temperatures. Come and hear more about this! The GAME students will present at venues in Kiel, Rostock, Hamburg, Oldenburg and Bremen.
