Photo: Raymond Shih<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>You might probably be interested knowing why I&#8217;m still adding pictures of the deployment since I&#8217;ve already shown you some previously? I will simply tell you that I&#8217;m really fascinated by it especially when the paravanes are deployed. Imagine, 1 ton each deployed into the water! This requires assistance of a crane as well as organisation and concentration from the people working on the deck especially when they&#8217;re getting close to the edge of the deck!<\/p>\n<p><em>Vous vous demandez probablement pourquoi je continue de mettre des illustrations du d\u00e9ploiement puisque j&#8217;en ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 post\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment ? Je vous r\u00e9pondrai simplement que je trouve le d\u00e9ploiement du dispositif P-Cable fascinant; tout particuli\u00e8rement le d\u00e9ploiement des paravents. Imaginez, 1 tonne chaque \u00e0 d\u00e9placer et mettre \u00e0 l&#8217;eau ! Photo: Raymond Shih<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>So, we started to record 3D data today but hardly in the middle of the first line that a problem occurred with the data cable and we had to take the decision of bringing back the port paravane close to the deck in order to check the cable connection. Below are some pictures of the operation.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nous avons donc commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir des donn\u00e9es 3D aujourd&#8217;hui mais \u00e0 peine arriv\u00e9s au milieu du premier profil qu&#8217;un probl\u00e8me est apparu au niveau du c\u00e2ble des donn\u00e9es. Nous avons donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ramener le paravent de b\u00e2bord proche du bateau afin de v\u00e9rifier la connexion du c\u00e2ble.
