Photo: Elodie Lebas<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>We arrived in our study area around 19.00 and started to deploy the 2D system. Contrarily to previous acquisitions, we increased the length of the streamer. Indeed, instead of having 1 streamer of 12.5 meters, we connected together 5 streamers obtaining a total length of 62.5 meters. This aims to increase the signal\/noise ratio of the data leading to a better imaging of the subseafloor.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nous sommes arriv\u00e9s sur notre zone d&#8217;\u00e9tude aux alentours de 19h00 et avons, d\u00e8s lors, d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 le dispositif d&#8217;acquisition 2D. Contrairement aux acquisitions pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, nous avons augment\u00e9 la longueur de la fl\u00fbte sismique. En effet, au lieu d&#8217;avoir une unique fl\u00fbte (d&#8217;une longueur de 12.5 m\u00e8tres), nous avons connect\u00e9 5 de ces fl\u00fbtes afin d&#8217;obtenir une nouvelle fl\u00fbte sismique plus longue (62.5 m\u00e8tres au final).
