When leaving the harbor entrance, several fishing boats were there continuying fishing. In the dark night they all looked like lanterns floating on the water. I found that really beautiful and kept a nice memory of it.

But hardly on our way to the second area (mud volcanoes southwest off Taiwan), we heard on the news the occurence of another typhon nammed Tembin. Coming in our study area on the 20th, we will have to leave the place early morning on the 19th and go back, once again, to the harbor. As we still don’t have much time to deploy the OBS stations, neither to collect 3D data, we decided to shot several 2D seismic lines above the volcanoes.

Nous avons quitté le port d’Anpin en fin de journée, après avoir mangé de délicieux mets japonais en ville.
