First information when you try to get breakfast: “the mesocosms will sink, you divers need to go out and save them…”<\/p>\n

so: eat as much for breakfast as possible, because you may come home late<\/p>\n

Problem: the water in the mesocosms is heavier than outside so it drags the bags down, the floating frame is not sufficient to compensate for this, the bag in the upper part shrinks and the lower part balloons, you can see that on the picture
\nSolution: additionally we put on so called “blubs”, rubber buoys which you can fill with air<\/p>\n

we connected them to the mesocosms frame by ropes, so the diver goes down, takes a blub with him, three at every mesocosm, the blub needs to be with the least air insight as possible to get it down, then you tie it and fill it with a compressed air pistol, so the mesocosm accelerates again, luckily…<\/p>\n

now diving to the next mesocosms and the same procedure as last time<\/p>\n

in total we put on 300L extra buoyancy, so the water insight the mesocosms is more than 300KG heavier than in the fjord…<\/p>\n
